The T-Fal brand of cookware was first launched in 1956 by Marc Gregoire. T-Fal is a combination of Teflon and Aluminum.
It was in 1954 when the engineer Marc experimented on bonding PTFE (Teflon) with Aluminum pans. T-Fal is the first company to manufacture nonstick cookware.
The brand is known for other appliances and innovations like waffle irons, raclette grills in the 1970s. They also make quality pressure cookers whereby they introduced the first single click and silent whistle pressure cooker.
T-Fal main products are cookware and up to now, they have many collections in the market.
Most of the popular collections of T-Fal include 10 nonstick and 5 stainless steel. Overall, the brand has over 50 million kitchen products.
Calphalon company started in the year 1963 in Ohio. It is the first company to manufacture hard-anodized aluminum cookware.
Initially, the company was known as Commercial Aluminum Cookware which later rebranded to Calphalon in 1968.
Anodized cookware is durable, scratch-resistant unlike most of the standard aluminum cookware.
In 1992, Calphalon added nonstick coating to their hard anodized cookware. Apart from cookware, Calphalon manufactures other kitchen products like cutlery, appliances, bakeware, etc.

Both T-Fal and Calphalon cookware are known for this nonstick cookware. Unfortunately, nonstick cookware lasts for up to 5 years which requires replacement.
With time, the nonstick coating deteriorates due to scratches and becomes unuseful.
T-Fal nonstick cookware is available at a cheaper price compared to Calphalon cookware. Buying the T-Fal is more valuable as there is no nonstick cookware that can last long periods.
