This technology ensures that regardless of the rice type, the results are perfect and just how you like it.
In terms of the material, it is designed with stainless steel giving it an attractive aesthetic. The stainless steel exterior is very easy to clean and can’t be scratched easily.

Zojirushi Rice Cooker FAQ
Is it only a rice cooker? Can you cook quinoa in a Zojirushi rice cooker?
As we discussed above, the name is almost a misnomer since it CAN cook more than just rice! Simultaneous with your rice cooking, you can also steam vegetables, fish, and more.
You can definitely substitute your grains that you cook with this appliance, and test out cooking quinoa to your desired texture and consistency.
Is Zojirushi worth it?
While this appliance does come with a fairly high price tag versus competitor products, it’s definitely a high-end and more advanced rice cooker. There are only so many appliances out there that can learn the way you cook and adjust their settings accordingly, after all!
The key to deciding if it’s worth it, for your budget, it so to take a look at 1) what you’re willing to spend/can afford for a rice cooker, and 2) whether it offers enough unique features versus the appliances already in your kitchen.
If you’re looking to replace your Instant Pot, for example, you may decide that based on the things you cook and the frequency with which you use your Instant Pot that the cost of this rice cooker is worth it.
If you simply want to make one batch of rice per month, then no, this probably wouldn’t be a wise investment for your household.
As a side note — being a Japanese company and Japanese-made product, well, you can trust that those people know what they’re doing, given the prevalence of rice in the Japanese diet!
How long does Zojirushi quick cooking take?
You’ll have finished rice in about half an hour, give or take.
How long can you leave rice in Zojirushi?
You can take advantage of the keep warm feature to keep your rice at a nice temperature for about 12 hours at most. There is an extended keep warm function as well but let’s be honest — after sitting that long, even less than 12 hours, your rice may be warm but it’s not going to be quite the same as “fresh.”
How do I use a Zojirushi rice cooker?
